I deleted my thursday post. I decided it was not informative, just a long rant on Emanuel and C.O.P. and in my opinion,their treatment of Vickie these last few days.
Vickie will have the shunt this morning, also the flap will be replaced. The swelling was obvious last night, so the natural drain system in her body was not going to work.
They seem to want Vickie discharged from the hospital setting ASAP. I will not, at this time go into the "real" reason I believe this is happening.
My new task is to select a nursing home for her to go to next week. I will most likely pick one in the outer S.E area, if everything else is OK.; July 16, 2004
