Vickie had a good afternoon visiting at a sister’s.

Vickie’s neurosurgeon, after reviewing the results from the scan performed a week ago, determined that there was no abnormality present as far a her shunt was concerned.
Vickie visited at a sister’s home this afternoon and was able to eat a fresh Salmon dinner.

Vickie’s appetite was a little better this evening.
One of her medications has had the dosage increased to see if it will help.

After being informed of Vickie’s regression, her original neurosurgeon decided she should have another scan to insure the new shunt was functioning properly. It has been six months since he checked it last.

Vickie showed no signs of improvement today.

Several of Vickie’s relatives have experienced nausea problems this weekend so she probably had the same illness. There were no further episodes so it might be done.

A bout of nausea this afternoon left Vickie in a very subdued state for the rest of the day. She seemed to recover somewhat in the evening.

Vickie was quiet most of the afternoon. No obvious change in her condition.

This morning Friends and relatives were able to visit briefly with Vickie while attending the service for her sister.
Vickie kept her appointment with her neurologist this afternoon. A new medication was prescribed to treat the behavior changes.

Vickie had several relatives visit this evening as part of the preparation for the service for her sister later in the week.

Vickie’s condition was unchanged today.
A tragedy has occurred in Vickie's family. Vickie's next older sister was hospitalized last week for serious medical problems. Over the weekend her condition rapidly deteriorated. Life support was removed Sunday evening. She passed away early Monday morning.

Vickie’s Dr. was concerned that she may have kidney problems associated with the ongoing infection. The test administered this morning alleviated those fears.
However, Vickie will need additional help daily to drain her bladder, the probable source of the infection.

A medical exam this afternoon showed what might be responsible for the recurring infection Vickie has been plagued with for many months. Tomorrow a more comprehensive and invasive exam will try to pinpoint the problem.

Vickie’s anxiety times are shorter and not as intense as they were previously.
She is quiet for long periods of time.

Vickie appears to be a little more tranquil now. Her moods shifts continue but are less pronounced. Her appetite is much better when she is relaxed.
