For reasons unknown Vickie seems to have lost her appetite today.

Another relatively good day for Vickie. Quiet, but with only a few of the troubling moods she has had for months.

Vickie’s episodes are less frequent and less severe now. With more coherent times her appetite is improving.

Vickie continues to do better. She is eating more meals on her own, so the supplement food by tube procedure is needed less often.

Vickie visited at a sister’s home this afternoon. She was treated to a nice early dinner, which she ate heartily.

Vickie accepted an invitation for dinner at a close friend’s this evening. The event was to celebrate the friend’s daughter’s college graduation.
Vickie was in good form, ate well and enjoyed the evening.

Vickie went back to her regular routine, only eating when she is in a calm and alert time, which is not often.

Today is a bittersweet anniversary. Two years ago today Vickie was stricken with the first of the devastating injuries to her brain. Although she has not recovered as much as we hoped she would, she is still making small increments of progress. Sometimes the improvements are so subtle we don’t notice until we take a look back and compare how things were before.

Vickie was quiet this morning. She refused her breakfast but later in the day made up for the missed meal and then some.

Vickie ate her meals today, including dinner and treats brought to celebrate two of her sisters’ birthday later this week. No ready explanation for the change in behavior.

Vickie is refusing to eat during the day but will sometimes have some dinner as she did this evening.

Vickie didn’t have any appetite until the evening when she ate a small portion of her dinner.
