Vickie still seems to be preoccupied with endeavors that no one else can see.
She is no longer taking the antibiotic prescribed some time ago. Tests will determine if it was helpful.

Readers may have noticed that posts to this site are no longer entered daily. Since Vickie is not living at home it’s difficult to assess correctly how her day has been with just a short visit.
Much of her waking hours, Vickie does imaginary chores and interacts with people apparent only to her.

A visit by a couple of friends from work seemed to have a positive effect on Vickie this afternoon. She was more alert and responsive than she has been for some time.

This afternoon Vickie visited at a sister’s home before returning to her current residence.

Vickie entertained family and friends who came to wish her a happy birthday this evening.

Vickie will return to her home Saturday evening. An informal birthday event with no set time is planned. Everyone is welcome.

Vickie spent Saturday afternoon visiting at a sister’s home. All went as well as could be expected.

The new medication Vickie started on in August was to help her memory. It doesn’t seem to be giving any positive results.

Vickie visited at a sister’s home this afternoon. She was able to eat a cheeseburger for dinner, something she doesn’t get to do at her current residence.

Vickie’s condition has not improved noticeably for some time now. Despite new medications she is exhibiting the same behaviors she had several months ago.

The operators of the home where Vickie is now staying have installed closed circuit television cameras in the resident’s rooms. The cameras are to monitor the residents and activities in the rooms. Visitors should be aware of the surveillance. For privacy the cameras can be temporarily covered.

Vickie’s infection will be treated with another anti-biotic. She still seems, as much as can be expected, to be in good spirits.

We are still waiting for the lab results to see if Vickie has another infection. She doesn’t show any overt signs of distress so it’s hard to tell.

Vickie did well today. There may be a slight improvement in her memory but it’s difficult to be sure.
We are having some problems with her meals and feeding but hopefully they can be resolved.
